ACCTREND Wireless Mouse

Good Wireless Mouse for Every Day Use

I needed a wireless mouse for work to use with my Chromebook that my school provided because I really hate using the touch pad. I teach in a high school so I needed a mouse that was solid, dependable and not too expensive because sometimes high school students take stuff that is not tied down too well (and a wireless mouse is, by definition, not tied down).

The mouse, the dongle and my Bic pen for size comparison.
I already had a small, wired travel mouse but it is so small that I find it uncomfortable to use (but still better than the touch pad) and I found this mouse to be a great improvement. The mouse is very comfortable to use and while this mouse is probably not precise enough for intensive gamers to use, it is certainly more than enough for the data entry type of work I do when I take attendance and enter grades into the online grade book.

It takes AAA batteries and it goes to sleep to save battery power. At first I had a hard time waking the mouse up by shaking it back and forth. But, I figured out to just push the scroll button in the middle and it wakes right up. It also has an on-off switch on the bottom of the mouse so it can safely travel without using up your batteries by getting jostled around and being woke up.

I rate this every day mouse 5 stars out of a possible 5 stars.

As of the time of this review, this mouse cost $11.39 on Amazon.com. Click here to check current pricing: ACCTREND Wireless Mouse .

Note: I received a mouse for free in order to test it so that I could write an honest review.
