JVC Wireless Earbud Soft Gumy Wireless Earbud, Violet (HAFX9BTV) by JVC
I've been using these Bluetooth earbuds for 2 months. Generally speaking, I use them to listen to audiobooks, but I have used them to listen to music as well.
These earbuds connect very easily. In my house I was able to get more than 20 feet away from my phone and still be connected. Outside, the range was less - but that has been my experience with every set of Bluetooth headphones.
They are perfect for spoken voice. They are not bad for music, just not great. They are what you would expect for a set of Bluetooth earbuds.
The manufacturer claims that they take 2.5 hours to fully charge and will work for 5 hours. In my experience that seems about right.
They are very comfortable in the ears and do come with different sized tips for different sized ears. That is pretty standard for ear buds.
They do not come with any sort of case. I re-used an old case and carried them in it. I would recommend a case rather than just sticking them in your pocket and fishing them back out.
The set comes with a microphone so you can answer the phone without having to shut down the Bluetooth. The microphone is okay, but not great. Good for a short conversation but that's about it.
I rate this Bluetooth earbuds 4 stars out of 5 and they can be found on Amazon.com here: JVC Wireless Earbud Soft Gumy Wireless Earbud, Violet (HAFX9BTV).
Note: I was sent a free set of these earbuds as a part of the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.

Magnavox DSP 360 Degree Sound Effect Portable Speaker with NFC and Bluetooth Wireless Technology (MMA3630) by Magnavox
I have been using this speaker for 4 months - I put it on a shelf next to my shower and stream music while getting ready in the morning.
This speaker can connect to a cell phone with by way of a wire with plugs on both ends (included) or Blue Tooth. It takes about 15 seconds for the Blue Tooth to completely connect to a previously paired phone. That is little longer than normal for most speakers or headphones, in my experience.
The speaker claims a 10 hour battery life. While I have never measured it, I can tell you that I go a long time between recharges.
The speaker sounds great with music - it has a nice deep sound with a lot of bass for such a little speaker. The size is compact enough that you can put it on a desk or on a shelf (like me) and have room for other things.
I rate this speaker 5 stars out of 5.
This speaker cost $77.95 on Amazon.com at the time of this review. It can be found on Amazon.com here: Magnavox DSP 360 Degree Sound Effect Portable Speaker.
Note: I received one of these speakers as part of the Amazon Vine Program so that I could write an honest review.

Blusmart Bluetooth Headphones V4.1 Wireless Sport Stereo Noise Canceling and Hands Free Headset with Microphone - Black
The Blusmart Bluetooth Headphones are an entry level set, coming in at the time of this review at $9.99 on Amazon (check here for current pricing).
The package comes with a charging cord, two extra earpieces and one extra set of ear anchors. There is an extensive instruction book that is easy to understand but clearly not written by a native speaker of English.
My family tested this headset extensively over the last 6 weeks. We used when walking the dog and working around the house. We listened to music and audiobooks and found it to do a workman-like job. The performance is not particularly exceptional, but it is not bad either. Very middle-of-the-road.
We connected it to three different model Samsung phones and a Chromebook. The only time we had difficulty pairing was with the Chromebook but that is pretty normal for the Chromebook - it generally has a hard time finding new devices.
I used the device as a phone and found its microphone to be very sensitive. It works great if you are in a quiet environment, but people I talked to could hear when I was doing things like shuffling through papers and said that it sounded as though I were wadding them up instead. I cannot imagine that this would work well in a car or another loud environment. I did not use features of the headset to make calls, I typically just connect it and use the phone normally so that I don't have to fumble around with the headset.
For the price, this is a great headset. I rate it 4 stars out of 5.
Note: I received a free sample of this headset so that I could write a fair review.

Atech PAE001 Sweatproof Bluetooth Stereo Headset (black) by PowerLead
The Altech PAE001 Sweatproof Bluetooth Stereo Headset by PowerLead comes with a USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer. It is sort of a hybrid headset - similar to the LG horseshoe shaped headsets but not really that bit or elaborate. When you are not using the headset, you can rest this set on the back of your neck fairly safely - not as well as the LG headset but still it sits there for a while.
The instruction book has no graphics and the text is pretty small so you have to squint a little to read it. The English is clearly written and easy to understand, although it is obvious that it was not written by a native speaker of English.
The Altech PAE001 Sweatproof Bluetooth Stereo Headset by PowerLead synced very easily with my Samsung Galaxy 6. When I have gone back and re-paired it with my phone it is surprisingly quick.
The sound is very good. It is not the best stereo sound I have ever heard - but this is not a top end head set that can set you back hundreds of dollars, either. Considering the price and the convenience of Bluetooth it is a good deal.
This set of Bluetooth earphones has excellent range. I had no problem going 20-25 feet from my phone with no skipping out.
The device comes with a good built-in phone. I did not use the headset's phone features (the buttons on the headset). When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone itself rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons.
Note: the earbuds on this device are in the "conch" style - like iPhone and Samsung earphones. Normally, I have trouble with that style and I assume that I am not the only one. I was able to work these in pretty well, however.
Note: I received a free sample of this set of ear buds in exchange for an honest review.
I rate these earbuds 5 stars out of 5.
As of the time of this review, the Altech PAE001 Sweatproof Bluetooth Stereo Headset by PowerLead cost $29.99. Check for current pricing on Amazon.com here: Atech PAE001 Sweatproof Bluetooth Stereo Headset by PowerLead

Bluetooth 4.1 Super Bass Magnetic Headphones(Red) by TechStick
These Bluetooth headphones from TechStick come with a USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer, two sets of earbud tips, two winged anchors in case you want to wear them while working out, and a clip to tie up the excess cord, if you desire. There is also a little storage case you can put in a purse or a backpack.
But, the biggest thing that they have is a different approach to how you store them when you are not using them but don't want to put them in the case.
Usually people sort of gently wad up their Bluetooth headsets and stick them in a pocket even though it makes no sense to do that if you think about it. The wires get bent too much, the earbuds get pulled on too much when you pull them out of the pocket and can come lose. And those earbud tips! They get pulled off and then you can't even listen to your headset until you get them replaced.
LG came up with a giant plastic U-shaped device that sits around the neck that is fairly popular. I have tried that type of headset twice and I just wasn't impressed either time. After a while it gets on your nerves hanging there.

Shown with the two magnetic ends put together. |
The sound is very good and very rich. Quite good considering that this is an entry level Bluetooth headset.
The device comes with an built-in phone that sounded just so-so. I was perfectly understandable, but a little worse than if I were using the speaker phone setting on my phone. I did not use the headset's phone features (the buttons on the headset). When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone itself rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons.
They come in two colors schemes: red or black.
Note: I received a discounted sample of this set of ear buds in exchange for an honest review.
I rate these earbuds 5 stars out of 5.
As of the time of this review, these Bluetooth earbuds cost $22.99. Check for current pricing here: Bluetooth Magnetic Headphones by TechStick.

Smart i9 Bluetooth 4.1 Magnetic Wireless Headphones by SmartOmni
Great Set of Entry-Level Bluetooth Earbuds.
The Smart i9 Bluetooth 4.1 Magnetic Wireless Headphones by SmartOmn come with a USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer, two sets of earbud tips. But, the biggest thing that they have is a different approach to how you store them when you are not using them.

Everything that comes in the box. The magnetic tips are attached to one another in this photo. |
LG came up with a giant plastic U-shaped device that sits around the neck that is fairly popular. I have tried that type of headset twice and I just wasn't impressed either time. After a while it gets on your nerves hanging there. This device features the best of both worlds. You can take it off, wad it up and stick it in your pocket. But, you can take the two ear pieces and stick them together with their magnetic tips and leave it around your neck. The entire device weighs next to nothing so, likely as not, you'll forget that they are around your neck and wander around the house wondering where you left them. When you attach the magnetic ends to each other the music you are playing goes into pause mode.
This headset is not designed to be a workout headset. The earbuds fit nicely into your ear and are extremely comfortable but would quickly work themselves loose if you wore them running.
The instruction book has good graphics but the text is very small so you have to squint a little to read it. The English is clearly written and easy to understand, although it is obvious that it was not written by a native speaker of English.
The Smart i9 Bluetooth 4.1 Magnetic Wireless Headphones syncs very easily with my Samsung Galaxy 3 and an Android tablet.
The sound is very good. It has a very rich sound. Almost deep, approaching the sound you get with much more expensive headsets. I was truly surprised when I first heard it.
This set of Bluetooth earphones has excellent range. I had no problem going 20-25 feet from my phone with no skipping out.

GRDE Retractable Earbuds Bluetooth Headphone
For a while now these over-the-neck style headphones have been out. They solve the problem with what to do with your Bluetooth earbuds when you are not actually listening to them. If you just let a regular set dangle around your neck they could easily get lost. If you stick them in your pocket they are not convenient and could get damaged. LG came up with the original design that lets the earbuds just stay safely around your neck when not in use. I tried an LG headset out and I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars. See my review of it here: LG HBS-800. This headset corrects one of the problems I had with the LG headset and introduces a much simpler interface system but there are still problems.
The sound quality is middle of the road. Not exceptional but not bad, either.
The device comes in four different colors: silver, gold, pink and black.
Pros:
-The easy on/off switch dispenses with the typical "hold and keep holding until you get a reaction" buttons that most Bluetooth headsets use. This is much simpler, especially if you are leaving them on around your neck. The device vibrates when you turn it on and turn it off.
-The Bluetooth pairs easily.
-The LG system uses lightweight magnets to hold the earbuds to the end of their device. This one uses a retractable system. Pull the earbuds out to the length that you want. Push a button and the wire retracts.
![]() |
The headset with everything that comes in the box: a micro-USB cord, its instruction manual and two ear-tip replacement |
-The phone works very well through this headset. I used the phone itself to call because I do not like using the buttons on a headset and having to try to memorize where all of the buttons are. When the phone rings when it is paired to this device the headset vibrates.
Cons:
-The headset is actually tight around my neck. I am not a thin guy but this was a new one for me. I would not be comfortable with long-term use of this headset out of fear of breaking the collar by forcing it open to get around my neck. If I had purchased it I would have returned it but I received a free copy in order to write an honest review.
Final thoughts: This headset gets 3 stars out of 5. 1 star was taken away for the "okay but not great" speakers. 1 star was taken away for being tight around my neck.
At the time of this review this Bluetooth headset cost $34.99. Check here for current pricing on Amazon.com: Retractable Earbuds Bluetooth Headphone.

iDeaUSA Mini Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in Mic, Supports SD/TF card,
One of the hottest things at the school where I teach is the mini-bluetooth speaker (as a teacher, I hate them but as an audio listener I have several).
Smart phones generally have pretty good speakers, considering how small they are. But, one of these little speakers can turn your smart phone into an old-fashioned boom box in a few seconds.
This little speaker is built for life in a backpack. It is rubberized and claims it is waterproof, although I didn't test it. Clearly, it is designed to be water-resistant so it should be able to make it through a rain storm or a coffee spill without a problem. It comes with a little carabiner clip to attach outside of a backpack, or to a loop on the inside as well.
The Bluetooth attaches easily. It has the ability to read music off of a micro-SD card and play it but I did not test that feature since I have no spare micro-SD cards sitting around. But, I have used it with its phone feature and it works great. If you are paired with your smart phone and you receive a phone call (or want to make one) just use your phone as normal and this speaker makes your phone a very loud speaker phone. No need to disengage the Bluetooth and all of that mess. Very helpful if you are listening in the car while driving. Just hang the speaker from the sun visor with the carabiner.
The instruction book comes with plenty of good illustrations that are very helpful. The text is almost always very clear and easy to understand. Sometimes, it is amusing, however.
When this review was written this Bluetooth speaker cost $22.99 on Amazon.com. Click here for current pricing: iDeaUSA Mini Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
Note: I received a free speaker in order to test it and give you my honest thoughts about it. This speaker will not rock out a party by itself - it is simply too small. But, for its price and because it is designed to travel it would be great on trips or to stream music with a smart phone in a car that is not compatible with wireless devices.
I rate this Bluetooth speaker 5 stars out of 5.

iGearPro Bluetooth Headphone
Great Headphones
The iGearPro Bluetooth Headphone comes with a micro-USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer, three sets of ear bud tips, three sets of different-sized ear stabilizers so you can customize how they fit and a little plastic device to take up the slack in the connecting cord, if you decide you would like to do that. Even though those ear stabilizers look horribly uncomfortable, they really are quite comfortable and very stable once you get them all screwed in (and I do mean screwed in - you think it has to be in all the way and then you twist a little bit more and then it all fits perfect!).
The headset is described as being compatible for exercising. It is true so far as the plug that protects the charger port is very snug (I have to use the tip my pocket knife to pry it out every time) so it is about as sweat resistant as a piece of consumer electronics can be. But, if you want something to wear while jogging or doing aerobics, this set would probably work its way out of your ears pretty easily. It would be great for walking, hiking or working out on piece of equipment.
The text in the instruction manual is very small and printed with a light colored ink so that you have to squint to read it. The English is easy to understand and is much better than you usually find in an electronics manual.
The iiGearPro Bluetooth Headphone syncs very easily with my Samsung Galaxy 3 and my Chromebook. The device tells you when it has powered on. Continue to hold the power button and it tells you that it is pairing. Push it again and it tells you that is powering off.
The sound is very good - extremely clear and rich. The bass is true, but not pumped up like a lot of people like nowadays. The highs are not tinny. They get loud enough that you can easily drown out the surrounding world.
This set of Bluetooth earphones has excellent range. I had no problem going 20-35 feet from my Chromebook with no skipping out.
The device comes with an excellent built-in phone. I am told that I sound like I am speaking into the phone normally and not like it is on speaker phone. I have not used the headset's phone features (the buttons on the headset). When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone itself rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons.

I used these headphones while watching the Civil War movie Glory - one of my favorite movies and one I have seen close to a hundred times on all kinds of devices. AngLink S015 Universal Mini Wireless Hands Free Bluetooth Headset (Golden)
This is Anglink's version of an old classic - the Bluetooth earpiece. This unit, however, does modify the classic Bluetooth earpiece design - and not necessarily for the better.
Unfortunately, because of the over-the-ear stabilizer I could not actually get the device into my ear all of the way. That stabilizer held the earpiece just short of being fully inserted in my ear. But, if I did not have the stabilizer on the device it would not stay in my ear, especially if I was moving. By moving, I am not talking about anything more strenuous than walking around. So, the entire time that I used the device I was pushing it into my ear and holding it there so I could actually hear the conversation I was having. I felt like Lt. Uhura in the original Star Trek TV series who seemed to always be shoving her earpiece into her ear. But, all of this pushing caused another problem as well. The entire outer shell of the device is a button and as I pushed the device into my ear it pushed the button and caused all sorts of things to happen.
When I used the device inside people I called said they could hear my voice very clearly. But, when I was outside the sensitive microphone picked up traffic, birds and everything else and people said that it sounded like I was driving in a car.
I did not use the headset's phone buttons. When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone's buttons rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons, especially when I was already having a problem with random button-pushing at it was (see the comments two paragraphs above).
The earpiece comes with two different-sized pieces that go into the ear and a short micro-USB charger cord. I used both earpieces and I still could not get the headset to fit snugly in my ear.
The instruction booklet was clearly written by someone who does not speak English as their first language - but it is perfectly understandable.
At the time of this review this Bluetooth headset cost $19.99 on Amazon.com You can check here for current pricing:

BestFire® Car-Shaped Wireless Bluetooth Speaker With Subwoofer (Red)by BestFire®
Usually I go for speakers that are designed to do the job but not stick out. But, this speaker just grabbed me. Is there any guy that resist a shiny red sports car. This car is the GT by Citroen, a car literally designed for a video game and then brought to the road as a concept car.

This speaker feels like a remote control car when it is picked up. All four wheels roll easily - it will roll off of the table if it is not perfectly level. It measures approximately 10.5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 3 inches tall. When it is playing, the tail lights light up and the headlights blink blue (about two seconds on, two seconds off).
But, how does it work?
This speaker is more than loud enough for a home office space, but it will not shake the walls. Currently, I am listening to it and I found that I had to turn it down - it gets loud enough that I have a hard time writing and listening. If you move the car around, it makes the bass sound more prominent or less prominent. This is not due to electronics, but the simple physics of audio. I found if you tilt the car up on something (like the driver's side wheels on the ground, the passenger side wheels up on a book), which you could easily do in setting it up as a display item on a shelf, it sounds best.
It comes with a replaceable rechargeable battery. The instructions are all one a half-sheet of paper. I used them to get started and then started experimenting. The car is pretty intuitive to operate.
![]() |
Everything that comes with the speaker: 1) the speaker, 2) a combination USB/line-in cord and a half page instruction sheet. |
When you turn it on the car makes a roaring engine sound then there is a voice that speaks to you in Chinese. But, the back window of the car is a digital screen and it says, "HI" in English. Hit the "M" button and you pick the mode you are in: Bluetooth, FM radio or Line-in. The screen identifies them as "blue", the current FM station's numbers you are on (it does remember where you left it, which is a positive) and "Line". As you switch modes the Chinese man comes back and says something. Hit the power button once and it puases (or "PAUS" as the screen calls it), hold it down and it says "OFF" and powers down.
The Bluetooth hooks up easily.
If you are listening to your speaker plugged in to or Bluetoothed to your phone you can use the car as a speaker phone. I asked people how I sounded over the speaker phone (or my "car phone" as I took to calling it) and I was told that I sounded just like normal. I used my phone to answer and call - I hate to use the buttons on a device that is hooked up to my cell phone because while I am looking at the Bluetooth device trying to remember what to do the phone stops ringing.
This speaker comes in three different colors: red, yellow and blue.
As of the time of this review this speaker cost $58.99 on Amazon. Click here for current pricing: BestFire® Car-Shaped Wireless Bluetooth Speaker With Subwoofer (Red)

They come in three colors schemes: fluorescent green/black, blue/black and seafoam green/white.
Note: I received a free sample of this set of ear buds in exchange for an honest review.
I rate these earbuds 5 stars out of 5.

BestFire® Bluedio 55L Bluetooth 4.0 Stereo Headset (noble black)
This is BestFire's version of an old classic - the Bluetooth earpiece. This unit features the classic Bluetooth earpiece design - no extending microphones or any wires going to your ear.

Everything that comes in the package with this Bluetooth earpiece. I don't even know what all of this stuff does. |
The sound is very clear and it stayed connected more than 20 feet away from my phone in my house. The sound is not bad at all, especially considering that the real reason to get this set is to have a Bluetooth phone - the music is just a nice bonus.
I did not use the headset's phone buttons. When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons.
The earpiece comes with two different-sized optional over-the-ear hooks. It also comes with a lot of other stuff that I cannot identify. There is a soft plastic piece that I think is some sort of in-car storage container that you hang from the air vent of the car and there is also a lanyard. I have no idea what to attach the lanyard to.
As an added bonus, the instructions claim that this headset can translate Chinese to English and English to Chinese (seriously). I did not bother to test that feature since I don't speak Chinese or know anyone that does.
The instruction book was clearly written by someone who does not speak English as their first language - but is perfectly understandable.

SoundPEATS Q2 Stereo Bluetooth Earbuds
Too Small for my head.
The SoundPEATS Q2 Stereo Bluetooth Earbuds come with a USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer, three sets of ear bud tips so you can customize how they fit.
These earbuds never really did comfortable on my head - usually you just have get them all screwed in (and I do mean screwed in - you think it has to be in all the way and then you twist a little bit more and then it all fits perfect!) but these never really did that with me. Even worse, the device just doesn't fit my admittedly large head (I have literally torn the stitches out of a one-size-fits-all hat in a store). It was so tight that they never really got into my ears correctly when I tried to put both earbuds in at the same time.
The instruction book has great graphics and the text is a decent size. Even better, the English is clearly written.
The SoundPEATS Q2 Stereo Bluetooth Earbuds syncs very easily with my Samsung Galaxy 3.
The sound is good. It is not the best stereo sound I have ever heard -but this is not a top end head set that can set you back hundreds of dollars, either. Considering the price and the convenience of Bluetooth it is a good deal.
This set of Bluetooth earphones has excellent range. I had no problem going 20-25 feet from my phone with no skipping out.
The device comes with an excellent built-in phone - my daughter said it sounded as good as when I use the cell phone the normal way. I did not use the headset's phone features. When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons up by my ear.
Because I simply could not get them to fit my head, I have to give this headset 3 stars out of 5. This could have been fixed with an extra inch of wire - the cheapest part of the whole device.
Note: I received a free sample of this set of ear buds in exchange for an honest review.

SoundPEATS Universal Q800 Wireless Stereo Bluetooth
I am currently listening to the SoundPEATS Universal Q800 Bluetooth headset. I have reviewed a number of Bluetooth headsets in the last few months and this one has one big thing going for it - its design.
The problem with Bluetooth headsets is what do you do with the things when you are out and about but you are not actually listening to them and you still want them handy? You could dangle them around your neck, but they could slip off and get lost. If you put them away, they're not very handy.
SoundPEATS Universal Q800 uses this collar-like device that is very lightweight. They are so lightweight that it is easy to forget that you are wearing them. If you are not using the ear buds, just attach them to the collar with the built-in magnets and the they are tucked out of the way.
The SoundPEATS Universal Q800has excellent range. I had no problem going 20-25 feet from my phone with no skipping out. synced very easily with my Samsung Galaxy 3 right away (usually the first time is the trickiest time) - so quickly that I thought there was a problem because my phone skipped some of it's normal searching - they found each other and synced up right away.
The sound is very good. It is loud, but not loud enough to block out the normal everyday sounds of life but not loud enough to bother the people sitting beside you. It is not the best stereo sound I have ever heard - but this is not a top end head set that can set you back hundreds of dollars, either.
It comes with two sets of replacement earbuds, a mini-USB charger cord and a replacement anchor that holds to wire to the collar.
The device comes with an excellent built-in phone and my wife said it sounded very clear when I used it. I did not use the headset's phone features. When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons. When someone calls when you are paired to the SoundPEATS Universal Q800 one of the tips of the collar vibrates just in case you are wearing the collar but do not have the earpieces in It feels like a bug is trying to land on your neck - it gets your attention!. It does the same thing when you wander out of range. When you go back into range it tells you that you are re-connected.

Jadaol® Bluetooth 4.0 Sport Sweatproof Stereo Earbuds (green) by Jadaol
Great Entry Level Bluetooth Earbuds
The Jadaol® Bluetooth 4.0 Sport Sweatproof Stereo Earbuds come with a USB cord to plug into a charger or a computer, six sets of ear bud tips and three sets of different-sized ear stabilizers so you can customize how they fit. Even though those ear stabilizers look horribly uncomfortable, they really are quite comfortable and very stable once you get them all screwed in (and I do mean screwed in - you think it has to be in all the way and then you twist a little bit more and then it all fits perfect!).
The instruction book has great graphics but the text is pretty small so you have to squint a little to read it. The English is clearly written.

Audiosharp AS1206 Wireless Bluetooth V4.0 Lightweight Sweatproof Headsets
A Hybrid Bluetooth Set
The traditional Bluetooth headset is that in one ear set that people use to talk on the phone. But, almost all Bluetooth stereo sets have a phone feature as well. But, what if you want to talk on the phone and drive your car at the same time with one of those stereo headphones? If you put both speakers in your ears you really can't hear what's going on when you drive, but if you just leave one headphone in then the other one is dangling around.
This most distinguishing feature is that the connecting cable between the two is detachable so that you can use one of the earphones and use it as a single earpiece. Re-connect the cable and you have stereo headphone set. Note: because of this feature, both earpieces have to be charged separately but the set comes with a dual plugged USB charger cord to get that done.
The attached ear hooks swivel and are actually very comfortable. On the whole, this set feels well-built.
The music quality is pretty typical of what you get in a Bluetooth set. Everything is clear and sounds good, just not exceptional.
The phone quality is just so-so. I called my mom and she said I sounded a "little fuzzy", but completely understandable.
This headset comes in three different colors: black, red and white.
I rate this headset 4 stars out of 5.
As of the writing of this review, this headset cost $29.99 on Amazon. Check here for current pricing: Audiosharp AS1206 Wireless Bluetooth V4.0 (White)

Best _Express New 2015 Lightweight Wireless Stereo Bluetooth Earbuds 4.0 Headset (black) by IMMI
They are affordable and they do the job.
I have used and reviewed plenty of Bluetooth earbuds. Some come in fancy packages (these do not). Some come with fancy plastic casings (these do not). Some come with fancy flat wires (these do not). Some are very expensive (these are not). These are the most basic Bluetooth earbuds I have seen - and they work!
Everything about these earbuds is basic - and there is a place for that. If you are working in an environment that is hostile to tech (wet, very dusty, whatever) your earbuds will fail no matter how expensive they are. At $13.99, these are practically disposable. If you have a middle schooler, this might be a good place to start since they tend to lose stuff easily. Or, if you are like me, I work in a high school where I have seen lots of tech stuff get stolen over the years (phones, wired earbuds, wireless mice, wired mice, projectors, and more) than you don't want to bring a $200 set of Bluetooth earbuds.
But, it's not like these are a bad set of earbuds. They work more than 20 feet away from my phone, the sound is not amazing, but it is every bit as good as most of the earphones and earbuds as I have had in my life. They sound good with audiobooks, too.
These earbuds pair a little harder than some and a little easier than other earbuds that I have used. Usually it takes two tries to get them to pair.
The ear clips are an issue. If you are going to be doing a lot of moving around you will probably have to use these ear clips. They are made of clear plastic and latch onto the earbuds and then slide over the ear. But, if you have fairly large ears, like me, you may find them to be uncomfortable after a few minutes. If you are not moving around a lot, this will not be an issue.
The phone feature on this headset is tremendous. When I use Bluetooth to talk on my phone I always use the phone rather than the headset features to interact (meaning I answer using the phone and hang up using the phone, etc.) because I just find it easier than blindly pushing buttons. But, the sound quality for both the call in and the call out is excellent - much better than on most of the headsets I have tested.
The earbuds come in four different color combinations: black/white, white/white, blue/white and pink/white.
So, to sum up, these are not fancy. They are not an audiophiles dream but they are affordable and they do the job.
As of the time of this review, these earbuds cost $13.99 on Amazon. Check here for current pricing: Best _Express Lightweight Bluetooth 4.0 Headset
